A language is most easily learned in childhood. You learned your mother-tongue joyfully and effortlessly.

Before you ever saw the inside of a school, you spoke freely with nary a care. You formed fluent sentences

    without having studied grammar.

The prize-winning Alpha College Method takes the natural learning behavior of children and scientifically

    adapts it for adults.

Velders | November 06, 2008 A very quick (and necessarily incomplete) overview over 5000+ years of history of the Netherlands, intended for an international audience. It has a slightly geographical bias due to the audience the film was originally made for. If you think some things are missing or presented unbalanced: please post a film that discusses that part of Dutch history in greater detail. I left out a lot of important things, because the goal was a quick and dirty introduction. Further information is to be found elsewhere on the internet. Music: Intro: Wilhelmus (Dutch National Anthem) Hunebedden: Volk van Laaf - Efteling (Bakery theme) Romans: Hyrule Field Theme - Koji Kondo (Legend of Zelda - Twilight Princess) Golden Age: Theme from Soldier of Orange (Soldaat van Oranje) - Rogier van Otterloo French Rule/19th Century: Ne me quitte pas - Jacques Brel WW2: Theme from Schindler's List - Itzhak Perlman 20th Century: -Zing, Vecht, Huil, Bid, Lach, Werk en Bewonder - Ramses Shaffy Made originally for the exchange Youth & Landscape 2008 in Ellivuori Finland, thanks to Lanschapsbeheer Nederland (Geschiedenis van Nederland)

GNTOLONDON | August 19, 2008 Produced by the German National Tourist Office this film is a short indroduction on what Germany has to offer as a tourist destination. Germany is a hugely diverse and interesting country. Apart from the traditional clich?s, like good beer, wine, sausages and Neuschwanstein (Fairy tale castles), it has far more to offer, catering for all ages and interests. Germany is without doubt top of the league in many aspects, like for culture vultures, opera, theatre, museums, etc, or for car enthusiasts the Nuerburgring racing track (race your own car), numerous car related theme parks (VW Autostadt) or there is simply the good old autobahn. For city breakers there are excellent nightlife scenes and brilliant shopping facilities. For nature lovers there are breathtaking scenes to be found throughout Germany, starting from the Black Forest and the majestic Alps in the south to the mega huge lake districts around Berlin and the endless sandy beaches in the north.
