PaperDiscoveryCenter | April 12, 2010 William Rittenhouse founded the Rittenhouse Paper Mill and was the first to prove that papermaking in America could be a viable, economically sound business. He was inducted into the Paper Industry International Hall of Fame in 1996 under the Founder and Leadership category.
